The rooms at Sawatdee Guesthouse are comfortable, clean, and nicely furnished. Despite staying in a fan room, it was surprisingly cold enough to make us shiver. the shared toilets were always kept clean and the staff ensured cleanliness. the lady at the front desk was extremely helpful and spoke English fluently, making it easy for us to ask her anything. it's a great place to stay.
We felt very happy at Sawatdee Guesthouse. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

Small, cozy rooms with fan or AC. Clean bathroom, friendly staff. Supermarket across the street.

The staff at the hostel was super friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. They even provided us with a Thai note to help us find a cab driver. The showers were clean and well-maintained, ensuring a refreshing experience. the hostel's location near government buildings and close to a pier made it convenient and safe for exploring the area.
One downside of the stay was the noise issue in the rooms. The thin walls and ceilings allowed for noise from adjacent rooms and the corridor to seep in, which disturbed our sleep.

I recently stayed at Sawatdee Guesthouse and had a wonderful experience. The location was perfect for me, as I wanted to use the nearby ferry system. The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the showers had hot water. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food served on-site, and there was also a great massage place just two doors down. The prices were reasonable for the area, and the train from Samsun station to DMK airport was incredibly affordable. I loved everything about my stay at Sawatdee Guesthouse.
I do recommend this hotel.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, allowing us to check in early and store our luggage upon check-out. The shared bathrooms were clean and had nice powerful showers with hot water. The location was convenient, with several attractions within walking distance and tuk-tuks and taxis readily available. The nearby market offered delicious and affordable food, and there was a 7/11 across the street for any last-minute needs.
The noise level in the guesthouse was quite high, making it difficult to sleep or relax. While earplugs were provided, they didn't block out all the noise, such as footsteps, zippers, or water running from above.

During our Christmas stay, we really enjoyed the comfortable rooms and the cleanliness of the shared showers and toilets. It was a relief to have such clean facilities, especially during a busy holiday period. the owner of the guesthouse was incredibly welcoming and accommodated us by allowing us to store our bags and use the shower even after checking out. This was a great convenience for us and made our travel plans much easier.
The lack of air conditioning in the rooms. Considering the hot weather in Bangkok, it would have been much more comfortable to have AC available.

The walls between rooms were really thin, so it could get a bit noisy with the neighbors. there was no AC in the room, only a fan.
